About this listen
Let’s talk about it.
In this episode, RiRi and GiGi go deep into a complaint we’ve heard from quite a few Black women:
Why does it feel like some Black men still struggle to "lead" in relationships—especially when their partner is thriving, self-aware, and not here to shrink?
👀 We’re asking the hard questions:
What role do Black women play in this dynamic today? Are we making space, overcompensating, or just done waiting to be “allowed” to participate in leadership?
And let’s not pretend this all came out of nowhere.
The deactivation of Black men was by design—cut from choice, stripped of voice.
Colonial Christian values manipulated religion to whisper obedience in our ears
The economy told us to perform, not connect.
And ultimately, separation was the goal.
Him over there. Her over here.
Power divided, love distorted.
But we were never meant to follow lies. We were meant to rise—together.
💬 This isn’t about blame. It’s about breaking the cycle—with honesty, courage, and care.
🎧 Tap in. We’re not afraid to go there, because love without truth isn’t love at all.
