About this listen

The story of Lewis Daynes, 18, who groomed and killed a 14-year-old boy then chillingly called 999 to report his crime. Hear the voice of this cold-blooded killer as he takes six minutes to calmly tell the emergency dispatch operator exactly what he's done.

Then hear him quickly hang up when he realises the police are outside.

Incredibly cold-blooded accounting of an older teenager basically luring another younger teenager into visiting him. The overall case is extremely gruesome. The actual phone call to the police is incredibly matter-of-fact from the killer and sadistic to say the very least.

Chilling, cold blooded tale

I have 3 Grandchildren this story really makes you stop and realize how dangerous the internet can be if not supervised by the parents. The mother actually was heavily involved and even reported this monster. The investigation went nowhere.

Unbelievably sad

This is a professionally made audio program describing events surrounding and the incident of each crime. The case is well detailed and the actual audio clips do an excellent job of making the events feel real and current.

Personally, I prefer to read (listen to) fiction, because I've never heard of many of these cases - as they're all from the UK and I am not - and they really remind the listener how awful humans are to each other.

The voice acting and narration are perfect. It feels like you're listening to a news documentary.

Theoretically, providing these stories will help prevent future crimes of this nature through increasing awareness.

Still depressing, but exceptional.

If the mother was so concerned about her son and called the police to question Lewis's motives how was it that she couldn't keep a close enough eye on her son and keep him from leaving her home which got him murdered?

Confused
