About this listen

Through promises of untold wealth and power, the Eternal Depths has long held sway over the hearts of men, has long lured the greedy and the desperate to their untimely end. Edmund Montgomery Ahab has sworn to destroy it. With nothing but a sword in his hand, vengeance on his mind, and a mysterious connection to the Aspect of Madness, Edmund embarks on a one-way journey into those deadly halls. He knows there will be no return. Edmund has already given his life to the dungeon. All that remains to be seen is whether he takes the dungeon’s right back.J.P. Valentine

it's unique and not overly complicated. I love it and hope the author continues the story.

A great listen and I’m looking forward to more episodes. Binged these in just a few days.

Solid

There aren't many good dungeon diver books, but this is loads of fun. Additionally the narrator is excellent, which makes it a dramatically more enjoyable experience. The most frustrating aspect is that there is not an option to buy the whole audiobook. Currently we're only 9 episodes in and I would gladly pay for the whole experience now if I had the ability, so the waiting week by week is not my favorite. But I'm enjoying it all the same.

A Diamond in the Rough

The story is great and packed full of action. If you enjoy any form of video games or fighting In books I would say, why not give it a try? I'm only on episode 4 but I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far and it makes the time go by pretty fast.

Just tried it on a hunch

The moment he helped the princess get away from the guards, I was annoyed. He always says people should leave for their own safety, talks about how it's dangerous for her to be around him, but then he not only makes himself an enemy of the kings guards and possible the entire kingdom, he completely goes against all the times he said to leave to help her. then you have the stupid kings guards saying he stole the princess despite all the evidence showing that she is in the dungeon willingly... and of course the love interest is a princess, and of course she has the stupid "I am tired of being seen as a child, nevermind the fact that I am the heir to the fking throne and if I die it could possible cause chaos in the kingdom. yep they definitely don't protect me for that reason but because they see me as a child.".. hate that trope

it is good but I have one problem

great litrpg, I enjoyed the dungeon story, the progression and the struggle are interesting and kept my attention. too bad episodes come out of order on audible. I wish this was bundled in a book. I hope the author keeps writing more, this has incredible potential as a bigger series—

enjoyable series

although the first couple chapters/podcasts takes a little bit to get going and draw you in. it's a great story worth listening to. I'm looking forward to the next season!

Give it time
