Thomas Moore has written thirty other books about bringing soul to different aspects of our lives; including our relationships and culture, deepening spirituality, humanizing medicine, finding meaningful work, and doing religion in a fresh way. He has been a psychotherapist for over forty years .In his work, Thomas Moore brings together spirituality, mythology, depth psychology and the arts. In his youth, he was a Catholic monk and studied music composition. He has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Syracuse University and has been a university professor for a number of years.  His work has helped many people around the world to live more meaningful and soulful lives.
