The voice & character skills of the DM & players bring the characters & setting to life in an amazing way. The setting & story are neat as well, but I'm definitly here for the characters.

I usually don't like the ad-read skits, but I don't like cringe humor. Even if you also don't like that kind of humor, you can just skip the ad-read at the start, it's only a few minutes.

Crit Role will give you unrealistic expectations for your own TTRPGs

Campaign one: begins around level 10 as they ported over there home game, fun and exciting, unedited so if background chatter annoys you will hate it. one player character leaves part way through forever ( for sus reasons)and another characters player gets a real job and they make it work for the most part. Campaign two: new characters to fall in love with, and a new place to explore, they really kept the first campaign out of this one for the most part. Campaign three: they started prerecording due to the lockdown doesn't seem to effect the podcast version. I'm not done with three but it's my favorite. I have spent so much time with them I feel like they are my best friends. I am sure if I meet them I'll totes be a creepster, never meet your heros.

I feel like there my friends now

I feel like there isn’t a podcast that has grown or has had so much popularity over the years. This one just takes the cake on the best ever.

The best D&D podcast ever

I’ve watched since episode 3 of first campaign. I love them all so much. The creativity is paramount.

Epic as always

This is a really enjoyable entry and I've been rapidly trying to catch up over the past couple months but this is also the first of all of them that have been released from audible where are they just cut off before they finish the podcast. There is just a whole missing section and I thought well maybe it continues in the next one but no there's obviously a whole at least 20 to 30 minutes after which is kind of sad that I'll never get to hear it.

this one is great as always but
