    On today's how, Papa is flying solo as Mat is on newborn daddy duty! Papa's monologue today was a positive one that highlights all there is to look forward to. Habs playoff eliminations have been more difficult in the past but this was house money and the future is so bright. This episode helps gain perspective in defeat with a lot of the usual segment with a but of an end of season twist:

  • Ep 39: Habs Down but Definitey Not Out

    Papa is BACK and right on time to talk playoff hockey! A bit of a tough intro to the playoffs for this really young Habs core but they do not seem that far off from being able to compete in the playoffs against the Conference's best. Here is what you could expect on today's show:

    • Intro: Mat is expecting his baby boy any second now and Papa talks about his Japan trip (1:54-12:04)
    • Recap of games 1 & 2 vs Washington (12:04-29:41)

  • Episode 38: Montreal Canadiens are Playoff Bound

    Mathew is back in the saddle and recorded the episode directly after the Montreal Canadiens booked their ticket to the Stanley Cup Playoffs! A hockey heavy podcast with a recap of the week that was (mentally draining as a fan.) Followed by a hits, misses and honorable mention segment that highlights a future assistant captain and shines the light on a player that needs to give a little more with a touch of new Russian rookie, Ivan Demidov making his debut. A look at our first round matchup with the Washington Capitals and a small touch on some fun statistics for the year.

    Mathew is back on the solo bus today as John continues his trip in Japan. A lot to cover this week as leagues from the around the world have ended and players are up for grabs to sign! Massive story yesterday with Ivan Demidov coming over early and four straight wins this week for the boys despite not playing their best. Nonetheless, the Canadiens are handling their business so they do not need to scoreboard watch.

    The deadline has come and passed and we are still not sure that Kent Hughes knows it. The Canadiens General Manager decided to stand pat and in his eyes the rentals that he could have gotten are all already in the room. We break down all the post deadline news and how this team shapes up for the rest of the way as well as a tougher week on the ice for the Canadiens. They are still very much in the mix 2 points out of a spot with 18 games remaining.
