  • Welcome to episode 10 of Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake. Now that New Line Cinema got Jason Voorhees back out into the public consciousness with the 9th entry Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday in 1993, the studio went to work on developing the match-up that teased at the end of it: Freddy Vs. Jason. Unfortunately, the film would be stuck development hell for quite a number of years. So, to keep interest in the franchise going, they decided to make another Jason film by taking him from Crystal Lake to outer space with the 2002 film Jason X, which was directed by Jim Isaac (House III: The Horror Show, Skinwalkers) and written by Todd Farmer (Drive Angry, My Bloody Valentine '09).
