What we fear controls us, and for most of us, the fear of man is an ever present battle. The problem with that is that when we fear man, we are actually worshipping people rather than God, and we're unable to leave either people or God the way we were made to. What is the way forward? That is the question this sermon seeks to address.

The Lord has a design for marriage, and if we're honest, it can be terrifying! How can we do these things well? By insisting on the Lord first, our spouse second, and ourselves last.

1 Peter 3:1-7

How do we live as good citizens in an unjust world? The same way Jesus did it - by entrusting Himself to the One who judges justly. Even when it hurt the most.

What does it mean to be God's chosen people? How do we know He is with us? How do we, as His people, grow up in our faith? 1 Peter 2:1-12 helps answer these questions.

Have you ever felt like you didn't have one more ounce to give? This sermon considers what it means to leave, even when it hurts.

What does God ask of His people while we are living as pilgrims in this world? What hope sustains us as we seek to obey His commands? This and more.

What has God done for us? How does He use our suffering? What should our trials result in? We are called to rejoice... even while being refined.

What do we need to know about life on this side of Heaven? First of all, this is not our home. We are pilgrims bound for the promised land.
