• Introducing: Podcrushed (featuring Eddie Redmayne)
    Jun 28 2025

We’re turning our feed over to one of our favorite podcasts: Podcrushed. Every week, hosts Penn Badgley (acclaimed actor from Netflix’s YOU), Nava Kavelin, and Sophie Ansari interview artists, authors, and experts to explore the tender, turbulent world of middle school, and relive the canon events of adolescence that shaped them.

From first crushes and heartbreaks, to family dynamics and identity formation, Podcrushed brings equal parts levity and gravity to every conversation, with guests like Ariana Grande, Matthew McConaughey, Jenna Ortega…and, as you’ve no doubt guessed from the title of this episode, Eddie Redmayne, the Oscar-winning actor whose Podcrushed episode we’re dropping into your feed today.

Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne takes a break from gracing the stage (and the soundstage) to bring his characteristic charm and kindness to the pod. He recalls early memories from growing up as the artsy one in a family full of athletes, and talks about his early days as a young theater actor in London, in awe of the bright lights and buzzy energy.

  • Introducing: Senseless with Erika Mahoney
    Jun 17 2025

This week we’re introducing you to a powerful new podcast, Senseless with Erika Mahoney. Everything changed one ordinary Monday, when Erika Mahoney’s mom called to say there was an active shooter at the grocery store nearby. In a matter of seconds, ten people were killed – including Erika’s father.

With the high-profile trial of the shooter as a backdrop, Erika speaks to survivors of mass shootings, community leaders, and others impacted by the tragedy in Boulder, on her deeply personal quest to move forward after the unthinkable.

Mass shootings have become a daily, uniquely American tragedy. But what happens to those left behind afterward? Senseless is a raw, unfiltered journey through grief, trauma, resilience, and moving forward after your world shatters forever. We’re going to play you a clip from the first episode when Erika’s life gets turned upside down. We are excited to share another Lemonada Media show you will love. It's called No One Is Coming to Save Us and it tackles the American child care crisis. No One Is Coming to Save Us has new episodes out every Thursday.

Gloria is back and ready to tackle America’s child care crisis head-on. To kick off season 2, she calls up Lauren Cook, CEO of Ellis Early Learning in Boston. We met Lauren back in season 1, where she walked us through the nitty gritty of how much it costs to operate a child care center. This time around, Lauren tears up as she talks about how nationwide labor shortages are reverberating through the child care system, what she has to do to keep the lights on at Ellis, and how the ongoing pandemic has made a bad situation continue to get worse.

  • Listen to This: After 1954
    Mar 9 2022

Our team wanted to share with you a preview of another Lemonada Media series that they know you’ll want to tune in for. The 1954 Supreme Court decision in Brown vs. Board of Education paved the way for racial integration in public schools. But there's an unspoken consequence of this historic moment. Estimates show 38 thousand Black teachers were fired throughout the integration. This means, the number of Black educators in our public schools dramatically decreased during this time. And that number has never gone back up. This has left a huge void in our public schools. That’s why it’s so important we uplift Black leaders working in education today. After 1954, a new podcast from Lemonada Media hosted by Aimée Eubanks Davis, is out now wherever you get your podcasts.
