Armed with forged papers for prisoner transfer, they arrived at the fortress precinct on Arcturus IV, a planet in the midst of a civil war, now having to convince the magistrate to release the Heretek to their custody.

Judge Rex and the Mechanicus representative presented arguments for who should gain custody of the Heretek, but the Magistrate revealed their target’s transport had crashed in enemy territory and the Magistrate would deal with him. Having few options left, the agents stole an Aquila Lander and headed to retrieve their mark.

The agents flew across the battlefield in their stolen Aquila Lander toward the crash site and their Heretek target, only to spot several Khornate cultists already there, pulling people out of the wreckage. The band seemed to have the upper hand until their Lander was suddenly shot out of the sky and plummeted toward where they stood below.
