About this listen

Every girl needs a tall bestie, right?

That’s where I come in!

Hosted by a tall girl named India, A Tall Girl’s Podcast is a podcast dedicated to helping (t)all girlies feel comfortable in their own skin and live their best lives. Growing up tall has taught me a thing or two (or maybe three) about embracing my individuality and finding the good things in what’s seemingly bad. And I’m here to spill the beans!

Join me every Thursday for self-confidence tips, funny stories, my journey through life, and (of course) tall girl problems! Oh, and fun fact, you don’t have to be tall to tune in ;)Copyright India

  • The Fashion Industry Still Fails Tall Women (and No One Talks About THIS ONE PROBLEM) ft. Sumissura
    Jul 10 2025
If you’re a tall girl reading this right now, I’m sure you’ve struggled with clothing at some point in your life. Heck, you’re probably even struggling with clothing right now at this moment. Were you just online shopping? And trying to filter through them 32-inch inseam jeans? It’s okay; you don’t have to lie lol. It happens to the best of us.

But yeah, clothing is probably the biggest tall girl problem….ever.

There’s no doubt about it. The pants, the skirts, the shoes, but there’s one article of clothing that isn’t spoken about enough, and that is: dresses. Okay, we do speak about it, BUT it’s not spoken about as much as pants. Don’t come for me. I know we can at least agree on that. So today, we’re going to be talking about why brands are falling short (literally lol) when it comes to dresses for the tall girlies and an amazing solution to this problem. Tune in!

  • Do Any Other Tall Women Get Misgendered? | “You’re Too Big to Be a Woman”
    Jul 3 2025
***Just a disclaimer: there are a few mentions of people being transphobic and using transphobic comments. Nothing too intense, just explaining a point while these terms are used.

It’s no secret that some people view height as masculinity.

Meaning tall women have often been seen as or called masculine. I’m sure we all know that lowkey. It happens to the best of us. And I’ve talked about it quite often on the pod. But what if some people take this a step further?

What if they believe that you are or call you a man or transgender?

Yes, there are tall women out there who were assigned female at birth who still choose to identify as a woman, and people still straight up ask them if they’re a man or trans, and why are we asking strangers about their sexuality/identity?????

But people don’t even have to do all of that? It can be something as simple as the side-eye in a woman’s public restroom or calling you ‘sir’. So, in today’s episode, we’re discussing why people often misgender tall women and determining if people are actually doing this on purpose. Tune in to the episode!!!

  • Your Toxic Friends Are the Reason You Hate Being Tall | How Jealousy Causes Body Dysmorphia
    Jun 26 2025
Every tall girl knows the feeling of being the odd one out.

In fact, I’m sure you were the one tall girl among your friends, classmates, teammates, or peers. You’d be a head taller than them to the point where other people would assume that you’re the random older sibling babysitting them. Or maybe that was just me and my situation lol.

Your friends were able to share clothes with each other, but you can’t because your friends’ clothes won’t fit you. People may treat you differently from them. Sometimes, your friends may make fun of you for being the tallest one in the group, making you feel even more insecure about your height.

What if I told you that some of your friends may be doing that last part on purpose? Yeah…some of your “friends” may not be your for real for real friends. Geesh, that got kinda dark lol…But I mean it IS real life.

Anyways, so today we’re gonna be talking about how our shorter friends may have made us insecure about our height, whether they meant to or not. Tune in to the full episode for more!
