 10年ほど前、沖縄在住のあゆみさんは、長くアルバイトをしていた勤め先からの勧めで その会社の正社員になった。 アルバイト時代にはなかった福岡にある月々の本社への出張が新たな仕事に加わったそうである。会社は長くいて沖縄のメンバーや社風になじみはあるが、初めての出張はちょっとした旅行気分になったのを覚えている。 宿泊のホテルでは二人一組で、あゆみさんは周囲から疎まれている先輩女子社員と同部屋だった。 特に話が弾むわけでもなく宿に着いたが、どうやら普段利用しているホテルが空いておらず、めったに使わないホテルだったのだそうだ。とても陰気な暗い感じのする……。©2022 Wataru Shirotani
