سورة العلق، أو إقرأ، هي السورة السادسة والتسعون ضمن الجزء الثلاثين من سور القرآن الكريم، واسمها مأخوذ من الآية الثانية. هذه السورة من سور العزائم لاشتمالها على آية فيها سجدة واجبة. تتحدث عن خلقة الإنسان وتكامله في ظل لطف اللّه وكرمه، وعن تعليمه وتمكينه من القلم، ثمّ تتطرق إلى طغيان الإنسان رغم كل ما توفرت له من هبات إلهية وإكرام ربّاني
