About this listen
Book 4, Taken to Heimo:
He hates me and all humans. But he still calls me his.
This full-length space-opera romance features an angry alien and a head-scarf-wearing human heroine who is far too polite to meet anger with anger… most of the time.
Book 5, Taken to Kor:
Roses are red, violets are blue, Rhork's a psycho and he's a space pirate, too.
Meet the possessive space pirate of Kor in this adrenaline-filled romp through space featuring a four-armed alien and a plus-sized human heroine.
Book 6, Taken to Lemora:
He's the wealthiest male in the quadrants and I make his horns…itch.
Somewhere within a distant constellation, a grumpy alien meets a hybrid human female who's just discovering freedom and is eager to grab it by the horns—literally.

Abducted off the space station where I teach the standard galactic language, I'm imprisoned with two other women in a cold, dirty cell on an alien ship. We're destined for something worse than death until a fierce, blue-haired alien male rescues us. We recover on his ship with his group of Heveian pirates. Story
The blue alien warrior pacing in his cage terrifies me. His long dark hair is wild and messy, and his scarred body looks made for murder. I deliver food to him every day, and I'm sure by the way he stares at me that he'd rather eat me. Yet there's something about him that captivates me, and I can't stop watching him. When he lets the snarling, fearsome mask slip, I start to see there's a cool calculation to his actions. I would be risking everything to help him escape, but do I dare let this monster free from his cage?

Story
Space ship travel when you've been kidnapped sucks. I don't get a pillow, there's no snacks, and worst of all—the whole ship crashes. Except, it doesn't crash on Earth, or even Mars. Nope, I'm in a whole new galaxy on a foreign planet and some body-builder-looking blue horned aliens with lots of piercings have decided I'm their new play thing. And not in a good way. Until one alien decides he's not going to share, and maybe I have a concussion from the crash, because I'm all about the possessive way he protects me. But there's no way he'll fight his whole clan for me . . . right?

Loads of fun
As narrator, Joy did an excellent job contributing to the fun nature of book 6 but it is Cutis who gave an incredible " performance"as he became the subjects with the little querks and emotional state of the characters. Of course, the author is fun and talented but a great performance can also leave one begging for more.

Good series
Book 4:
This book is more of a continuation from book 1&2 it is about Krisxox and Seevera. I really wanted to hear her story based off of the 1st 2 books but I didn’t really enjoy the blatant racism that Krisxox showed from the beginning to basically the end of the book. I think he only changed his mind because of the mate bond not really his own realization that he might be wrong to think that way for no reason.
Book 5:
This book is Deena and Rhork. The pirate that tries to steal the women from book 1 and book 4. This was one of my favorite from the series. Loved the story line and both of the main characters and their arc’s throughout the book. Deena is amazing and one hell of a main character and personality. Rhork changes as well throughout and it’s interesting how that plays out.
Book 6:
Probably one of my least favorite in this series. The female main character is alright with a serious need for a backbone. The male main character was just abrasive and not an interesting male. He yells constantly and is just rude and repetitive. He is illogical at every point of the story and just is stupid in my opinion. The way their planet and culture is described is also very vague and not well explained like every other book. Overall this book was a let down after how good all the other books in the series are.

I hate the narrators.
I recently become big fan of Elizabeth Stephens. Her first three books were amazing. I love the characters and narrators. Also, as a black woman with hijab, I rarely ever see people who represent me. Seeing those characters was wonderful. Although I was a little confused what religion Svera was but I didn't care. I fell for her from the first 2 books. She was smart, brave, protector with good heart. I honestly could not wait to read her book and I got it. Boy was I disappointed. I HATED the narrators. Specially the man, he sounds like 100 years old. I listened 30 minutes and I had enough. I wish you redo it with the previous narrators.
