Loved it! Just what I needed to hear in 2024!
A deeply personal and introspective work about getting in touch with shadow self, the side that we all have and one that we should take heed of, if we want to have a balanced life both as a person of the world and as a productive Creative.

Excited to put this work into practice
Joanna Penn gives us permission and encouragement to explore our shadow as authors. I’m an author of one book, but realize other works emerging on much darker topics. Though I’ve been holding back for fear of judgment, Penn has inspired me to get these stories onto the page. Maybe I’ll publish under a pseudonym or maybe I’ll just feel relieved to get them out of my head. Either way, this is a book I’ll return to when I have doubts.
