Shifters

This story is about Brody and Robin. She is covering a tattoo and she gets Brody instead of Poppy. It's a little tense at first but Brody is able to calm her down. It isn't love at first sight but pretty close. There is sparks and plenty of steam. Bodies start to show up to close to the shifters and they get the killer. After all that they get to their happily ever after. Great narrator.

I Enjoyed Robin and Brody's Story

I am enjoying all the books in this series which, for a nice change in my opinion, feature interesting characters who have experienced life. They are all over forty years old and because of this all have some sort of issue or past hurt. In Robin's case, it's a failed marriage which ended in divorce. Understandably now she's a free woman about to start a new life she wants to disguise a tattoo of her ex's name.

She's wary of men though and wants a woman tattooist she's heard about to work on her. Although she had an appointment there was a mix-up and she ended up being passed over to a male colleague, Brody Glenwood, who agreed to help Robin. Brody is a very talented and much-in-demand tattoo artist and a wolf shifter. He instantly feels an attraction to Robin but he's human and he does his best to avoid relationships with humans.

The tattoo Robin wanted disgusting was on her inner hip, working in such close proximity to an intimate area he can't ignore the desire and attraction he feels and so decides to break his rule and ask this human for a date, something his inner wolf was in total agreement with.

Their date went well but instead of just asking her out again, he makes a dental appointment at the practice where Robin works as a dental assistant, Brody as a wolf never needs to have his teeth cleaned, shifters have perfect teeth! But problems arise during the appointment whilst Robin is flossing his teeth and one of his wolf's teeth emerges and he accidentally bites her through the glove. She's not too worried about the accident but hey why would she be she has no clue that she's about to become a shifter too!

Wolf's Midlife Bite

Brody is a tattoo artist. He has a business with another worker,Poppy. He is drawing when he is asked by Poppy to do a tattoo on a woman coming in to cover another tattoo. Robin is there to get rid of the tattoo her ex put on her. She is a dental hygienist. She works for a dentist who is not quite nice to his employees. Eventually he goes to see her and while she is working on her he accidentally nibs her finger. Her life from this point is going to change. In fact she's going to change into a wolf. To say that she is at first sceptical then she starts to turn. Brody takes her under his wing and tries to teach her about being a wolf. But it seems every time he tries explain things she seems to draw back.Now it's up to Robin to decide what to do..accept Brody or not?
Elle Sonali has a soothing voice and it brings added life to the characters.
A fantastic story and audio.

Another Great Addition to the Series

Meg Ripley has outdone herself on this latest installment of the series. The characters were endearing while the story line was engaging.

Elle Sonali did a great job of breathing life into this story and made it a fun listen.

Wolf’s midlife bite

Great story robin goes to get a tattoo covered up but needs to see the other tattoo artist Brody sparks fly for the couple they meet for dinner then Brody comes to her dental office for an appointment that he doesn’t really need he nicks her with his teeth which wouldn’t be a big deal except he’s a wolf shifter and now robin is going to be one too there’s some other stuff in this story as well I was glad that it was resolved in the story a very happy ending for all I received a free copy of the audio book via book sprout and wanted to leave a review

Tattoo

This is Brody and Robin's story. She is free from a life that was destroying her. When she goes to remove a tattoo she meets Brody. When she meets him and he removes the tattoo by her intimate part. Will she go on a date with him? Will it lead to more? She is human and he is a wolf.

Loved It

I loved this book. It was a cute story. I loved both Robin and Brody. They had such great chemistry. I liked how he made her comfortable covering up her tattoo when she'd wanted and expected a female tattoo artist, but due to overbooking, got him instead. I also thought it was cute that he made a dentist appointment he didn't need just to see her again and ask her out. A small accident though will change everything and I was excited to see how it would turn out. I listened to this audiobook narrated by Elle Sonali who did a great job bringing these characters to life. I liked the tone of her voice and it's nice hearing her narrate more books in this series.

Wolf's Midlife Bite

The second book in the Marked Over Forty series. Brody a wolf shifter and human Robin meet when she goes to get a tattoo to cover the bad one she has. Then he goes to get his teeth cleaned, she catches his tooth and it pierces her glove leading to a complication. The story has suspense, drama, danger, villains, romance and a HEA. I enjoyed reading and listening to their story. Elle Sonali does a very good job of narrating their story.

Great story with depth.

I enjoyed this story from Meg Ripley. I also thought the narrator did a good job. The story has the great world building and depth that Meg puts into all her stories and narrator did a good job in conveying that depth to the listener and did so in a captivating way.
