Stöckle gives a terrific reading of this faithful translation of Mantel's masterpiece. I'm listening to the German while reading the English as a language-learning exercise, but am enjoying the fiction, translation, and performance so much it doesn't feel like exercise at all. Really beautiful work by everyone involved.
