About this listen
A Valentine bonbon from Devon/Dee.
Will Andrews wishes to escape the craziness of his bohemian family and create some order in his life. Hiding his eccentric theater background and presenting false letters of recommendation, he interviews for a position at a legal aid society. The last thing he expects is to fall hard for his genteel employer, Hugh St. John. When Hugh needs a secretary, one magnetic candidate draws him. Will Andrews shares his vision for the Society and is also the most attractive man he's ever met. But Hugh has never even kissed a man and would never throw himself at an employee.
As the pair plans a Valentine charity dinner, they grow ever closer to surrendering to Cupid's arrow. But when Will's false credentials and true background are revealed, can Hugh forgive his lies and omissions? Can fragile romance blossom into true love after trust is broken?

Story
Noah: Rook Oliveira stumbled into my life when I was eleven years old. Being the scrawny new kid at school with a mouth full of braces, I never expected to become unlikely best friends with the most popular boy in seventh grade. At eighteen, I gathered the courage to tell him I was gay and admitted I'd never kissed a guy. He offered to be my first. Straight or not, that kiss had burned with nearly tangible fire and tattooed the moment on my heart. I've spent the last four years trying to forget it.

Michael McCann has a gentle way with women, and Timona Calverson is no exception, despite her ragged clothes. Timona can't bring herself to tell him who she really is - or that her rich family will pay handsomely for her return. A whimsical family can seem a curse, but be a blessing.
Wills yearning for change in his life, his new job seems to bring him back to family.
Hugh, needing help with business finds Will very adept, but fears he is being lied to. A fund raiser could make or break things in both of their lives.
A funny and crowded love story.

Absolutely wonderful!
The truth is I would happily enjoy listening to Cornell Collins reading the dictionary or anything he chose. So I was drawn in by the fact that Mr. Collins is the narrator for this little gem of a romance. I found these characters and the beautiful story to be a delight. A very easy listen that gave me a few hours of wistful joy. I really didn't know what a sucker I am for romance. I can't wait to read more by Bonnie Dee and Summer Devon. Well done! Thank you.

Lovely little story, nothing really unexpected and nothing needed to be, it continues the story of the Andrews family or is a stand-alone novelette.

Opposites attract in 19th cent England
Opposites attract. Charming story set in 19th century England. Interesting that a young gay man wants to escape his eccentric theater family for a less raucous life. Blah, timid Gentleman allows himself to fall for his employee. An issue of identity causes trust to be questioned and the just begun romance is almost lost. Family and true love saves the day.

A great romance
This series is incredibly sweet and romantic. Honestly some reviewers are complaining about the story not being "deep" are they serious??? If you want deep, read James Joyce. If you want a charming romance with a fantastic narrator, get this book.

The good and not so good
Excellent read, well acted. Interesting story line too. But the romance is too scmaltzy for a story about men. for my tastes. But if you like your romance cloying, this should be high on your list.
