About this listen
THEY THINK HE'S DEAD. THAT'S THEIR FIRST MISTAKE.
The only thing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose… is a man you don’t see coming.
Jack Noble’s plan was simple: lay low on the sun-drenched shores of Greece and disappear. But nothing about Jack’s life stays simple for long. A desperate father. A ransom note. A girl in peril. Suddenly, Jack is in the crosshairs of a ruthless criminal empire that controls the island like their own private kingdom.
What starts as a rescue mission spirals into a deadly game of cat and mouse. Jack’s every move is shadowed by unseen enemies who know more about him than they should. Forced to rely on his instincts and an unlikely ally, he must outthink and outmaneuver a predator with unlimited resources.
Outnumbered. Outgunned. But never out of the fight. Jack Noble has one advantage his enemies didn’t count on—he’s already dead in their eyes. And that makes him more dangerous than ever.
Relentless action. Jaw-dropping twists. And a finale that will leave you breathless.
If you like the cunning strategy of Jack Ryan, the unrelenting drive of Mitch Rapp, and the razor-sharp intensity of the Gray Man, you’ll be hooked on this explosive Jack Noble thriller.
Don’t turn away—because Jack never does.

Good Jack Noble Book...(but)......
Love all Jack Noble stories but this one was kind of slow. It was also
kind of "man mushy". To descriptive when it came to describing women. When describing men, he did not go into how "soft" his hair looked or how his shirt "clinged" to his body-showing off his "rippling muscles." Enough of the sexist stuff-just tell the story. It was just OVER KILL in this book. Other than that, it was pretty okay story. There are better Jack Noble books out there. Hope the next one is similar to the other reads prior to me reading this one.

Too short!
Like the Nobel series but the 4 hours one are just too short and slap in loyal readers face if we paying this much should be 10-12 hours a 4 hour audio book doesn’t even get us through the day :(

What a shocker!
I am shocked that Jack Noble could act so dumb and be unable to read the character of people he meets. What happened to his training and experience? Surely a ghost writer penned this one. I am afraid I won't be following Jack in the future.

Good performance, but the story barely resonated
This was my first read of a Jack Noble series thriller. I guess all the tough guys gotta be named Jack. But I like the Jack Reacher series better. I was interested in Noble, however, because I write international spy thriller novels, and this should’ve been right up my alley. But, ultimately, it wasn’t. It was written by the numbers, and the book ended with a big thud for me. The idea was to push us to the next book. Nope. I won’t be going there.

why such a douche
Untill this book I loved Jack noble almost but not quite as much as Jack Reacher. I am still going forward with the series for now unless it becomes unbearable with Jack always being an ass even when just rolling with the situation would make him look much more calculating and bad ass.. when I was younger it was the quiet guys that were always the scariest and feared..Better to walk softly and carry a big stick...than bark and bark and bark till even the good guys want you dead. lol..Let's hope #6 restores my faith in Jack so I don't have to abandon LT Ryan...

Short books with high prices?
I have enjoyed the Jack Noble series 1-4, but am now frustrated with these 4 - 6 hour books that still cost a full credit. What's the deal ? His books were in the 12 hour range and worth the money. These short novelettes should be priced accordingly. Author greed or Audible??

Violence
The storyline is pretty good but sometimes Jack’s character seems too reckless for his training. Almost dumb! And often times there is unnecessary violence for no other reason than to point out out how ruthless Jack is. He picks fights just to kill.
