About this listen
What does God want? Sounds like a simple question, but if you give it a bit of thought, it’s really not. For starters, you have to know who’s asking the question. People will ask it for a lot of different reasons. Best-selling author Dr. Michael S. Heiser shows listeners that the answer is pretty simple. That might surprise you. There’s actually a long, remarkable story behind the answer - one that isn’t well known by most people interested in the question.

In this astute mix of cultural critique and biblical studies, John H. Ideal for students, professors, pastors, and lay listeners with an interest in the intelligent design controversy and creation-evolution debates, Walton's thoughtful analysis unpacks seldom appreciated aspects of the biblical text and sets Bible-believing scientists free.

Story
The earth and distant extraterrestrial worlds are reeling in the wake of war and ruin. A powerful insubordinate prince, personified as the dragon, the devil, and the satan, has mounted an unsuccessful insurrection against the kingdom of heaven in a battle of unimaginable destruction. The planets in our solar system, once teeming with life, have been laid waste and left to careen in their orbits tohu va-bohu—desolate and empty. After untold eons of inundated oblivion, the time has finally come to restore the terrestrial realm and appoint a new regent to govern it—Adam, the first man.

Another Gem
This is another gem from Dr. Michael S Heiser. Every one of his books both audio and text along with his Naked Bible podcasts are truly informative. You will never read your Bible the same again!

AMAZING GRACE HOW SWEET THE SOUND!
This foundational book on Christianity is simple yet profound. This message should NEVER change. This was my first book authored by Dr Michael Heiser. I am looking forward to starting another of his books later today.
His works are perfect for such a time as this in the year 2022. I highly recommend this book to all. Though I’ve been a Christian over 40 years it was a great reminder. I feel it is vital for all new believers to read first. This good news helps us to be more stable in our new faith rather than fluctuating according to our behavior.
Now I feel I’d like to add two scriptures here because I was remembering them throughout the book.
Galatians 1:8-9 NKJV ~ But even if we, or an Angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now say I again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
The main thing is to keep the main thing, the main thing. In HIS WORD we can trust!

Beautifully Written.
Such a wonderful book. this has more of an emotional undertone about it versus an academic approach to Michael Heiser's unprecedented academic research. It tells a beautiful story of our faith with God and Jesus Christ. I would highly recommend this book for new believers and established believers.
