About this listen
In biblical times, culture was all about patriarchs.
A person’s ancestors were identified by the fathers, marriages were arranged when girls were 12 years old, and when they became women, they were rarely seen. They only had worth if they were married and a mother.
In this study, you will learn how the stories of biblical women relate to us today. The author highlights prostitutes, a ditched daughter-in-law, widows, a few adulteresses, a set of sisters, and even an unwed pregnant teenage girl.
All of the women have one thing in common: Jesus. By listening to their stories, you will learn why as believers, it is imperative to remember that God extends grace to all. Each of the women also show why it is so important to internalize our beliefs and make them our own through action.
While this study isn’t likely to answer all your questions, the stories reveal the glory of God through his redemption and kindness.

Story
The bundle covers the stories of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob with a bonus book on Lot, Abraham's nephew. The Bible tells us that Abraham was God's friend and he was chosen to head up all of God's people, including us in the Church today. They were not a perfect family, indeed, these stories will raise your eyebrows at times, they are so dysfunctional. The story of Abraham is a journey through life. It is a journey all of us are called to make.

Story
Some say, Catholicism is outdated. It's behind the times. It's boring. They've forgotten our story. It's time to rediscover that there is genius in Catholicism. Christianity has captivated the world for more than 2,000 years. Look a little closer, and you'll see that it is the most dangerous and exciting thing on earth. Catholicism is a game changer. This book looks at the big picture of who God is, what he has revealed to us, and how that will radically impact our lives if we let it.

Never Too Far celebrates new beginnings. It offers encouragement and perspective, and it’s for you if you feel frustrated or confused, if you’re sorrowing or in pain, if you’ve made mistakes or are grieving, if you’re disappointed or feel as though life doesn’t make sense. The good news is that God is in the business of giving fresh starts to people. He gives hope to the hopeless. Direction to the directionless. Help to those who need help. God is always good, all the time, and God’s plans will always prevail, even when our plans don’t.

The Bible tells us there is ecstatic, extravagant joy eternally in God's presence. We do not have to experience joy only intermittently, since every fruit of the Holy Spirit is available to us always. Georgian Banov knew nothing of this joy. Born and raised in Communist Bulgaria, he escaped miraculously to the United States, where he was embraced by the love and joy of the "Jesus people".

The Bible is filled with stories of God using ordinary people in extraordinary ways to change the world. Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, and others were just regular, imperfect people who chose to obey God's call - and what a difference that made! God is still in the business of transforming his followers into world changers, and that includes you.

Story
Hard times come for all in life, with no real explanation. When we walk through suffering, it has the potential to devastate and destroy, or to be the gateway to gratitude and joy. Elisabeth Elliot was no stranger to suffering. Her first husband, Jim, was murdered by the Waoroni people in Ecuador moments after he arrived in hopes of sharing the gospel. Her second husband was lost to cancer. Yet, it was in her deepest suffering that she learned the deepest lessons about God.
