About this listen
Discover the Poetic Mastery of Robert Frost's "West-Running Brook"! Immerse yourself into the calm, poetic word streams of beloved poet Robert Frost, narrated exquisitely by film actor Tiren Jhames ("Dawn of Justice", "Alex Cross"). Known for his evocative exploration of nature, mortality, and the moods & seasons of time & earth, Frost's poems in this 1928 collection continue to captivate listeners with their profound simplicity and ability to express things we’ve never said, yet always known.
In this perennially uplifting compilation, Frost contemplates the interplay between time’s tireless trudge, humanity’s hopes & resignations, and the enduring reflections of the eternal expressed in nature’s little wonders. Line upon line, these quiet contemplations ascend & surround you like lingering incense, winding wispy whispers of life, and grief; cleavings, and communions.
Perfect for poetry enthusiasts and newcomers alike, "West-Running Brook" invites you to wax wistful on the ‘humanity’ found in nature, and the ‘seasons’ of the heart. Stop, watch, and wonder for a while. These scenes will spark you, and remind you that there’s never a need to rush… a good thing.

I needed this
Wow! What perfect timing for a perfect book of poems. And perfect narrator to top it all off. I wish I could hear his voice every time I’m stressed. In fact, I’m saving this just for that reason. Give me more of that please

overall great reader
Great voice and good handling of the poetry as poetry, but would be perfect if the reader understood that you don't have to pause at the end of each line--enjambment means the line flows into the next without a break. Still great overall.
