Somehow important descriptions didn't sink in, snd found myself pausing or going back regularly. Good premise, with a lot more insight into the start of the Guild world and MPD workings.

paused frequently

Good strong characters and a well planned world make this an enjoyable listen for fans of urban fantasy.

Unexpectedly Fun

This is a phenomenal addition to the Mythic world! Its fun, fast paced, and takes off like a shot! I also love how Kit comes alive and takes on a life of his own. Love it!

Superb!

Annette Marie just gets better with each new book. This one had me laughing several times just at the narrative. Some of the repetitive use of certain descriptive from before I didn’t notice here. The guild world is fun and entertaining, I hope it goes on forever!

Good narration - the only problem was that the females all sounded like old smokers or something. You get used to it after a little bit though! Good pacing and emotional inflection though.

Plot was good, but I found my mind wandering a bit during important scenes instead of being completely drawn in. The MC has a power though, and Annette was really creative with how it’s used! Generally a cool plot though and I recommend to anyone who is a fan of urban fantasy and/or bad boys with a heart of gold hidden really deep down.

Interesting power, highly recommend

This starts an exciting new series with magic of all kinds, cops that deal with magical crimes, and magical artifacts, and our main character who is caught for working for a magical con guy. It is a fun read, great characters and fun fantasy! I am going to enjoy this series!
Great narration too!

Another new fantasy series!

I loved the book, and loved this narrator for Kit's voice, but his female voices were cringe worthy at points. If you are the type of person who won't let that pull you out of the story, enjoy the adventure. If something like that will pull you away from the action, go get the book. Either way, Kit and Lienna's story is fun and exciting, and I can't wait to see where their adventures take them.

Great story, mostly great narrator
