About this listen
This box set contains books 1-3 in the Teer & Kard series.
A young man’s anger and gun
An old man’s secrets and magic
A moment that binds them forever
Teer was forced into exile in the Spehari’s Eastern Territories after they betrayed his father’s memory, leaving him and his mother destitute. He has grown up on the ranch of his mother’s new husband, nursing the skills of a cowboy and the anger of a betrayed child.
When one of the demigod-like Spehari walks into his bar, Teer gives in to a pointless moment of anger—opening fire on one of the rulers of the Unity!
Sentenced to hang for his crime, Teer’s life hangs by the slimmest of threads: the mercy and secrets of the very immortal he tried to kill…

I liked the main character 's personality and magic.
see above I liked the main character's personality and magic. I like the interaction between the two main characters. There are so many directions for the story to go.

Versatility is Glynn Stewart’s strength!
Glynn Stewart is one of my favorite authors because he uses different voices to create different feels for different worlds. He does mostly space opera but is also great for urban fantasy. This is the first time I’ve read his weird westerns but they are as good as his other works. I am disappointed more people haven’t listened to them. I think Audible might have misclassified them as “Fiction.” They might do better as “Sci-fi & Fantasy.”
