I didn't like the English accent at times. during the reading. I would rather have had an American accent version.

it's the Bible the whole thing stands out.

It lists the Books and Chapters. This is the only audio version of the Bible that I know of that does so.

Simon Bubb does a fantastic job at narration. He always seems to have the right tone and pace for the reading.

I don't think audiobooks are a suitable medium if you are looking for a particular psalm or verse, but they are an excellent way to simply listen to the word of God. He who has an ear, let him hear.

There is a Table of Contents

The speaker is clear and slow, enough to savor the words as spoken. Others renderings are so fast it frustrates me trying to focus on the meanings.

I love this rendering

Table of contents is about a half a chapter off from narrator. Please fix this.

Simon Bubb does a wonderful job. His voice is easy on the ears and I listen daily. There is one thing though, in The Book of Revelation the chapter titles are listed in the plural, Revelations 1,2,3 ect. I am surprised that Thomas Nelson did not catch that.

As I was listing and reading along studying Genesis, in chapter 18:5b it is supposed to read "Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally" But there is an obvious insert of "cursed be their anger for it is fierce and their wrath for it is cruel" then completely skips over the beginning of "v.6 "So Lot went out to them" and starts with up with "through the doorway." There needs to be a proof listener before it comes out audibly especially when reading the Word of GOD.

Very good , but.....

I love the narrator. I have 1 complaint though, Isaiah 19 skipps. Please fix that part. Overall it’s pretty good

I love it

I have searched and searched for days and even with 2 audible techs who were so kind to help, hunted through all the audible Bibles voice only and dramatized or music background. Everyone we tried we found only listed Chapter 1 to up to 900?? So if you are looking for The book of John, your guess is as good as anyone’s! Maybe chapter 500? Who knows? If you want Psalm 23 I have no idea how to find Psalms! This is brand new today that just popped up. I read the one review from England, and He mentioned the wonderful British accent- which is awesome to me because I love the Brit accents, and He said he’s not racing through it! Praise God he’s not! I love that! You can get a novel and they don’t rush read through them so why do the narrators always rush through the Bible? Plus so full, or harsh or monotone or bass. Not just a normal nice voice.
This guy has it down good!
The improvement over any other Bible is, - it might say “Part 2” for example. But the Narrator tells you the book of Exodus. So I can at least write down a table of contents at least and know that say “part 1 is Psalms! And over a fair bit of time, I’ll remember what part is 1 Samuel. At least that’s an improvement from just chapter 1 to a million!
But still, what’s so hard about showing us the actual names of the books? And and if it’s Matthew, put Matthew chapter 5? What’s so hard about that? PLEASE BIBLE PUBLISHERS! FIX THIS BIG ISSUE YET SMALL THING TO FIX!!!

Soooo MUCH Better! Finally! Thank you! Big improvement- but still needs more work

PLEASE ADD TABLE OF CONTENTS! This shouldn’t be too difficult. I like Simon Bubb’s voice, but it’s not as good as David Suchet’s.

Good, but still needs work
