Story
In addition to being among the most celebrated of contemporary filmmakers, Quentin Tarantino is possibly the most joyously infectious movie lover alive. For years he has touted in interviews his eventual turn to writing books about films. Now, with Cinema Speculation, the time has come, and the results are everything his passionate fans—and all movie lovers—could have hoped for. Organized around key American films from the 1970s, all of which he first saw as a young moviegoer at the time, this book is as intellectually rigorous and insightful as it is rollicking and entertaining.

Nice Introduction to the Art of Visualization
Concise and yet packed with practical tips and information. Pity there aren't more guided exercises, but a great starter for the newbie.

Get ready to meet your spirit animal!
Do not get this if you need any instruction on becoming a filmmaker or anything remotely tied to that. This is complete crap and a waste of time and money. I’m pretty sure I spent 5 dollars...and that’s still a colossal waste of money.
You might find this helpful if you need help imagining how to grow a leg back with your mind after having it amputated. Other than that don’t expect any help in directing a movie.

Ok for an introduction
Not a bad introduction to visualization. The speaker has a pleasant voice. The various types of visualizations, and their uses are discussed. At the end, the speaker takes you through a visualization to find your inner advisor.
While I liked this title, I found Creative Visualization (unabridged) by Shakti Gawain much better. For me, Shakti Gawain's presentation had much more helpful information.

Visualize A Really Bad Book!
This book is as more a psychological/psychoanalytical essay on how to visualize getting a job, losing weight, or accomplishing goals as it is about visualizing how to make a movie.
While there may be a nugget here or there of value, overall, the "book" (if you can call 52 minutes a book) is advertised to sell to the writer when really it is a hodgepodge of self-help with a lot of bad music that plays between each idea being presented.
If you have enough of an imagination to want to be a writer, you are already beyond what this book offers. A hard pass.
