About this listen
Welcome to Villa Rosamar. Leave your secrets at the door.
“Georgia – I need your help…I’m scared. Something’s up and they're coming for me.”
When a plea for help arrives from Georgia’s estranged friend, Isabelle Gardiner – queen of charm and persuasion – it’s the last thing Georgia wants.
Compelled by the bonds of their past, Georgia can’t refuse.
Of course, there’s more to the weekend in the Canary Islands with Isabelle’s nearest and dearest than sun, cocktails and late-night laughter: Whispers of blackmail. Old scores to settle.
Underlying it all, the resurgence of a past Georgia thought she’d escaped – that someone hasn’t forgotten.
When a dead body turns up, it’s clear to Georgia: this isn’t a reunion. It’s a trap. And revenge is the real guest of honour.
As paranoia soaks the Villa, alliances splinter and masks begin to slip.
It’s time for Georgia to confront the sins of the past; before the Villa claims another life. Time to face a brutal truth:
What has Georgia really come here for?

Book Two in the Georgia Winters Mystery Collection. Can also be read as a standalone book.
Once again, Georgia is stuck amongst quite a few unsavory characters. She's only trying to do a good deed when she comes running to a friend's rescue after receiving a cry for help. The only trouble, who can she trust? It's a trap. I wasn't sure who the bad guy was. They all seemed bad. I was surprised at the end. The ones I thought would be good weren't and the ones I thought bad, weren't. I can only imagine the trauma this all will create in Georgia's life going forward.
I listened to most of the book and the virtual voices is amazing. Who would've thought just how good one would sound? It's like a real person reading and putting emotion in where it's needed.
The past comes back to haunt you
