About this listen
What if earlier in 1941, the United States had specific intelligence about the upcoming Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and had acted upon this information?
In Victory at Hawaii: America Defeats the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, the decades-old question is explored—how could the US be so surprised and defeated on December 7, 1941 by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? And how could, just six months later in June 1942, the US Navy deal a crushing blow to the Japanese Fleet at the Battle of Midway? We all know that the US had some important intelligence indicating that the Japanese were going to attack us at Midway Island. But what if earlier in 1941, America had specific intelligence about the upcoming Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and had acted on it?
In this exciting new novella, Victory at Hawaii: America Defeats the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, by Frank Jefferson, a time traveler goes back in time to 1941 to warn President Roosevelt and his military leaders about the upcoming attack on Pearl Harbor. Listen to this compelling audiobook to see if President Roosevelt and his advisors believe him and act on this information, and see how the Pacific War could have worked out differently.

In our world, Ensign Sam Houston, just turned 21, led the charge on the creek barricade in that battle and almost died from a terrible wound that took him a year to recover from. In this world, his wound is minor, so he is able to continue fighting the British—and develop his close relationship with Andrew Jackson much sooner.

Story
Only days after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt tapped Chester W. Nimitz to assume command of the Pacific Fleet. Nimitz transformed the devastated and dispirited Pacific fleet into the most powerful and commanding naval force in history. Facing demands from Washington to mount an early offensive, he had first to revive the depressed morale of the thousands of sailors, soldiers, and Marines who served under him. And of course, he also confronted a formidable and implacable enemy in the Imperial Japanese Navy.

Well told story about the Pearl Harbor attack
I've always seen the Pearl Harbor attack as a reminder to America on always being ready for an attack by her enemies. I like the way the Author puts together the facts and narrates the story in an interesting way, such that it's not boring to us non-history students. lol. I recommend this book 100% if you are curious to know what really happened.

Engaging peace of History Fiction
This was a nice fun story of what could have been. I’d like to set up of the novel and how things could’ve been differently and what could have been worse and good for the better. This book shows a lot of information of how things were back then and how the people operated back then. Super helpful as a person who is into history

Loved This AudioBook!
"Victory at Hawaii, December 1941: America Defeats the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor" was so educational! I learned so much history from this book. These are just a few titles on this audiobook. Washington in 1941, First Trip to Pearl Harbor, Preparing Our Navy, The Japanese Attack, and much more.
This is a great way to learn or remember history. It makes you feel like you are right there with the action.
I believe this would be a great learning tool in a history class.

Very informative fun to listen to
This was exciting to listen to.
All the information from the actual events was informative so I think any war buff would enjoy listening to it. I learned alot I never knew.
I loved the details about how he planned out his time traveling, especially how he could travel back & forth with everything he wanted & time didn't matter.
The way he knew exactly what needed changed where was amazing to me.
Glad to see a positive take on Pearl Harbor!
The narrator was real good & kept me engaged.
