I released stress I didn't know I had
This book was so pleasurable to listen to that I've decided to keep it on replay in my car. As I listened, I found myself doing deep breathing, body scanning, and many other tools that Nicole Reap mentions. Those things alone felt so good to do. Stress was leaving, muscles were relaxing, and this was before I realized that this audiobook comes with the PDF with a 28-day plan, making doing these exercises even easier. So much of this is subconscious, though, so that is why my intention is to replay it over and over so that my body easily adjusts to this calm way of being. The voice is PERFECT for this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it highly.

Feel Better in 10 Minutes
The information in this book opened my eyes to the power of our vagus nerve & that I can do things to strengthen mine & improve my health. The author explains things in a way that is very easy to understand & follow. I started applying the techniques immediately & began noticing positive changes. I began feeling calmer during the day & I noticed that I was sleeping better through the night. Even my digestion seems like it’s doing better, too. It’s quite an empowering feeling to have information & tools to utilize & then see results. I highly recommend this book!

Helpful Information!
This book gave me a lot of insight to gut health that I didn't previously know about! It was very interesting to learn more about how gut health can affect my overall health throughout my whole body. Learning about alleviating stress techniques was most interesting to me and prove very beneficial. Would recommend this book to anyone looking to better their health, especially if they feel like they have tried lots of different ways to do it. The info in this book will do wonders!

Much-needed resource!
For the last several years, I've noticed an increase among my clientele in people who suffer with gut-related pain or other stomach issues. I treat anxiety, which underlies much of this problem, and I am always searching out techniques for activating the ventral vagus, initiating greater calm and a resolution of physical symptoms. Nicole Reap's book is packed with this kind of information and so many teachable skills that clients of any age can learn. I found her approach refreshingly easy to understand . . . and the techniques work! I'm recommending this to all my friends and family who have irritable bowel syndrome or any other anxiety-related physical symptomatology. Plus, all of us can benefit from these simple ways of returning to the body with gentle strategies for activating rest/digest and social calm.

A Comprehensive and Informative Study on the Vegas Nerve
Nicole Reap did an amazing job describing the science behind the Vegas Nerve and its integral effects upon health and vitality. I learned so much about it that I didn’t know! I appreciate the bonus materials and the extra effort put into that to give even more value to the book! The exercises and ideas for community groups for support were really helpful and gave me some direction moving forward. This audiobook is an important addition to my library for health and wellness.
