Very informative reference guide
As someone who is into health and wellness and recently just had my annual checkup, I think this is a great overview of the bloodwork. I learned a lot from going through this guide. I think a lot of time many people get nervous when they go to the hospital. This is not only due to the worry related to treatment cost but also trying to understand medical jargon. This reference guide will help take care of the latter worry as it breaks down your bloodwork result into layman term to help you understand your physical health better. One thing I would like to see for this guide is the source where the references are based on. The number such as the ones from lipid panel may reflect the NIH National Cholesterol Education Program optimal targets for lipid levels or it may reflect a recommendation from other organizations.

I can't wait to share this book with my mom, who has Fibromyalgia! Living with chronic pain is a horrible way to live. I have had bouts of chronic pain, and know my mother does as well, and it can deplete a person and drain energy. This book is an awesome reminder to take care of yourself and offers easy, sound advice for how to approach these issues.

I loved reading this book, I found it so informative. It's really well written. The chapter on Care less, Open more was brilliant and The 10 steps to getting out of my head were so useful, I have been able to implement some of these steps already in my life. I am so excited for the next book which you write. Hint hint, please write another book.

Great understanding of blood work
I enjoyed reading this book prior to purchasing the audio. And now listening to this book really helped me concret what I wanted to gain a better understanding of when it comes bloodwork. Dr. Todd Strong really laid out a great guide to interpret the results of bloodwork while providing brilliant questions to prepare yourself with when visiting your doctor. I personally enjoyed learning the possible causes of elevated and depressed markers. I also loved reading about the optimal ranges to understand the difference between normal and optimal. I've always battled depression and mood issues - this book really gave me some insightful information to consider. I'm excited to implement the 2 week diet plan he provided to help get you on track to optimal health.

This is such a helpful guide
I didn't realize how important bloodwork was until I listened to this. Dr. Strong knows what he is talking about when it comes to analyzing blood and understanding how it is affected by things such as diet and how you can further work with your own health and doctor to get better results through bloodwork. I know when the time comes for me to get blood drawn or a blood test, I will most definitely consult this resource first before any other article online.

Misdiagnosed
As a person that has been misdiagnosed 5 times, even though I self diagnosed correctly by myself I try to take my health into my own hands. Doctors are merely experts that help me in that aim. This book helps me do just that more effectively, and efficiently. If you are of the same mind after being let down numerous times by doctors give this book a go.
