Nikolaj Morten Korch (f. 1876 - d. 1954), Danmarks mest folkekaere forfatter, begyndte sit virke i 1898 med novellesamlingen "Humoresker - Fyensk Humør", der indeholdt en raekke skitser og fortaellinger, alle på klingende fynsk.
