What did you love best about Tyler's Undoing?

I do like a HEA, and while the theme has been done before, LP Dover did add some new additions to the plot.

I would have liked the narration to be done by a male for Tyler's part, since it was 1st person. It was a little distracting. I also thought Brie's voice was grating. That said, given the amount of voices the narrator did, I think she did as well as she could. I am a MMA fan as much as I am a romantic, and I don't think some of the MMA scenes were very realistic, All said, I will give LP Dover another shot.

Book was fine, narrator was not

I listened to about 2 hours of this book before I gave up and bought the Kindle version to finish. This book is done in dual perspective but only a female narrator. Her women's voices were high pitched and nasally and her men didn't sound like men at all. I could have possibly gotten past those things, however, the thing that put it over the top for me was the fact that she kept putting emphasis in weird places like she was trying to make everything everyone said sound provocative and flirty. It got to be just way too much for me and I was much happier finishing the book in my own voice.

The story was pretty good despite the choice of narrator and I recommend it. There were a few places where I wanted to slap Kaycee for not telling the truth but I also saw her reasons for not doing so. So that part wasn't too distracting or over the top. I thought she and Tyler were good together and despite her not being completely honest he did get over it and everything worked well for a sweet HEA.

I did go ahead and buy the rest of the series on Kindle as well, since they don't appear to be here on Audible and if they keep the same narrator I wouldn't want to listen to them anyway.

A HOT NEW MMA SERIES YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS

Tyler's a handsome, fit and sexy MMA Fighter happy with where he's at in life - he's just won another fight, he's getting ready for the 'big' fight and he has a different girl each night - ahhh life was good. However, when he spots a new girl in his Father's Gym he's drawn to her but the blonde beauty brushes him off so he's intrigued, aroused and the challenge is on. Kacey wants nothing to do with any arrogant womanising Fighters they're all the same, they're like her badass Brother and his friends. She doesn't want to be just another 'conquest' but slowly Tyler proves that he's different with her and he grows up, mends his wicked ways and Kacey starts to trust him. But should HE trust Kacey because she's holding back a terrible secret.... one that will cause hurt, pain and the devastation of their new relationship.

Arrrgh, why do they hold back secrets until it's too late, well duh I know the answer is to add drama but it's just so frustrating to keep thinking "tell him now", "oh this is a good time", "quick tell him before it's too late" and then the inevitable "oh shit, see I told you to tell him". So yes, there's plenty of angst and drama provided by the secret, jealousies, an ex girlfriend and the Brother and his evil friends from Hell. But there's also some nice characters, some great twists, a loss, danger and a sweet love story that's got lots of hot sexy scenes and tender words.

Worth a credit? A very enjoyable listen told from dual POV's by a good narrator so YES if you're looking for a hot MMA listen with a sexy hero and a confused heroine who brings out his caring side then you too will find this listen worth a credit.

Cute, Predictable, Love Story

I wanted a mindless, pleasant listen and was not disappointed. This is a run of the mill MMA love story but I still enjoyed the listen. The only complaint I have is that the narration grated on my nerves. I think she was ok ... but her male voices were UGH so very hard to listen to! Worth a sale but not a credit.

ok story. unsuitable narration.

the actual story was very average. not terrible not particularly good but ok enough to finish. the narrator did it no justice at all. i think i might have enjoyed it a bit more if id read the physical book rather than audio :-/

I really didn’t know what to think when I started this book. I liked Tyler right from the very beginning.

I even like Gabriella, Bree is a pretty fun character as well. Kacey had me stumped. I didn’t know if I liked her or not.

As the book goes on, I can see Kacey has a lot on her plate, a sick grandma, absent tee mother, and a selfish brother.

So when Tyler and Kacey started their relationship, I was happy Kacey finally had someone else looking out for her.

This book has a crazy amount of secrets, lies, jealousy, trust issues and stubbornness.

I enjoyed the narration as well, I kind of wish it was dual narration because there were a lot of male parts too but overall I enjoyed this book. Glad I have book 2 I can start that one right away.

Great Story

I really enjoyed this book. One of the reasons is that there are none of the standard clichés that I usually read or hear with books. Lately, I have been rolling my eyes in the back of my head due to those clichés, such as when they first meet an attractive man, "my body ached for him." Geez, you just met the man. The story was really refreshing. I think I would have liked to have a different narrator that could do more voices or men's voices better or even have a female and male narrators, but overall she wasn't too bad.
