About this listen
Resident Writer: Every story is part of a writer’s soul, and Ted Hayden quickly finds that out as he starts his new job as a nurse’s aide at the Greenwood Living Center and discovers that legendary author, J.S. Hill, is residing there. Then comes, Pam Bernette, daughter of Greenwood’s resident writer, and Ted finds himself falling for this unexpected beauty.
A writer himself, Ted is caught in the dreaded vice of writer’s block and cannot find a way out until he discovers that even though the centers resident writer had stopped publishing years ago, he never stopped writing.
Caught between love and writer’s block, Ted secretly steals a few journals of J.S. Hill’s unpublished work. Then the thought crosses his mind that he can publish these stories under his own name and put a kick start to his failing career as a writer.
Ted finds himself under attack whenever he opens one of the journals and steal the stories therein. Determined to make it as a successful writer and pursue the love he finds growing between himself and Pam. Ted must fight a spirit that is tracking his every move and trying to stop him from stealing another man’s work.
Room 419: The first year of college is supposed to be one of new experiences, adventure, and discovery. Higher learning in a safe setting with new friends, new teachers, and independence. For Violet Mann this was a chance to purse new dreams and live in a setting unlike she had ever done before.
Moving into Edmyer Hall was a big change going from a small family setting to dormitory living with over a hundred young men and women living in the same building. Something her parents fervently disapproved of. But Violet needed a change and Elmstead College was just that. A new chance at a life outside of high school and the view of her parents even though they mean well.
Assigned to Room 419. Violet moves in and meets her new dorm mate, Sabrina King. A love stricken senior with a secret that no one can know about. That is till Violet hears an argument between Sabrina and her mysterious man.
Worried, Violet heads back to their dorm room to console her new friend only to find her missing. In her search Violet discovers that her roommate is not what she seems, nor is she among the living. The only thing is Sabrina doesn’t realize this and continues to relive the last year of her life, over and over, until the day of her untimely death. Rules suicide, Violet knows that isn’t the fact and she is determined to get to the bottom of why her roommate died.
Along the way Violet learns that Elmstead College has a dark history. Violet knows that, with or without the help of the police, she has to find the truth behind Sabrina’s death or become a victim of the college’s past.
