1993-A police helicopter pilot. “Now the white light was glowing brighter and getting nearer—still no wing tip lights. Within 15-20 seconds it was headed right toward us and seemed to be increasing speed! As soon as I felt a collision was imminent, I jerked the cyclic stick back and to the right, initiating a steep turn up and to the right to avoid a collision! At the same time, this thing flew right under us, then turned and shot toward the east and upward in about a 45-degree climb and disappeared!”
