About this listen

Who would’ve thought that beneath the lush landscapes and beautiful backdrops of Hawaii, there could lie such danger?

Taylor, a single mom, faces the daily struggle of balancing responsibilities and providing for her son, Jax, all on her own. Little did she know, her world would shatter in an instant when she witnesses her own son being kidnapped.

Faced with the terrifying sight of her 12-year-old child being forced into a van, Taylor's instincts kick in, propelling her into the relentless pursuit to get him back.

Along the way, she meets a devilishly handsome man, but there's just something about him she can't put a finger on. Can she put her trust, and the wellbeing of her son, in the hands of a man she just met?

Can they stay one step ahead of the dangerous men after them?

What did Jax see?

Why are these men after them?

Taylor will do anything to keep her son safe.

I really enjoyed the story line. I really liked the fact that I could see my son in her son.

I really enjoyed this book. It definitely hooks you from the beginning. Now the only thing I didn't love was it never made much since to me why the kid napper went after the 12 year old girl in the 1st place. It felt off because if they kidnapped the 15 year old and killed her and other order girls why would they go after a 12 year old especially when she was with another person (the boy the story took place around). Besides that it was a good book and worth the read!

Worth the read

I loved this book. It was fast paced. It was exciting. It was heart warming.

The author brought alive the beauty of Hawaii, and the most lovable characters caught in a terrifying reality, creating the perfect balance between a love story, rediscovering family, and coping with a tough situation.

The narrator made the story come alive.

a fast paced and heart warming book...

I was sucked in from the first chapter. Heart pounding and emotional. This was one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to. Action, swoon and a kick ass single mom who know how to use a Beretta. Send in a sexy FBI agent and you have one great read.

What a ride!!!

This is the third book I read by Nalani Titcomb, but the first in audiobook format. I loved them all, but this one is my favorite by far. The fast-paced and seamless storyline, combined with a strong, consistent narration, make it a thrilling and emotional experience. Though it’s described as suspense/action, this is first and foremost a love story, a romantic one between two strong, lovable characters, and that of a mother’s love for her son. I was pulled in from the first sentence, and I’m still feeling warm and tingly inside. Nalani is a very talented writer and I can’t wait to read more of her books.

A thrilling and emotional experience!
