About this listen
Do you find yourself continually being pulled back to painful, stressful and upsetting situations from when you were little?
Are you still struggling, trying to come out of the other side of the dark tunnel that was your childhood?
When you want to break free from the shackles and pull of the past, you need to find a way to help yourself that works on a variety of different levels. The problem is that, unlike experiencing a one-off traumatic event, a traumatic childhood is probably all you know. You don’t have anything happy and peaceful to refer back to that shows you what you were like before the negatives started occurring in your life.
But this is not the moment to give up hope. In fact, this is the moment to stand up, step forward into your power and decide to be the one who will change the way the rest of your life unfolds. How is this possible? It’s possible because…
…you CAN achieve so much in your life simply by believing that you will get to the destination you’re dreaming of right now. After all, I did it. Why can’t you?
“Toxic Family Survival Guide” is for anyone who wants to give themselves a fighting chance at happiness and peace in their life, no matter what their early years subjected them to.
Inside, you're going to learn about:
- Toxic family roles and patterns
- Effects of living in a dysfunctional family
- Traits of an Emotionally Immature Parent
- Signs you were raised by an EIP
- Mental issues that come with unresolved trauma
- Living with a narcissistic parent
- How to recover from unresolved childhood trauma
- Traits of an emotionally mature person
- Dealing with Dysfunctional In-laws
- Setting boundaries and cutting off ties with toxic people
- Building and maintaining healthy relationships

Story
But It’s Your Family is a remarkable account of what it means to cut ties to toxic family abuse and thrive in the aftermath. Loving someone doesn’t always mean having a relationship with them, just like forgiveness doesn’t always mean reconciliation. Reconciling, in many cases, only sets people up for more abuse. A significant part of healing comes with accepting that this is a part of life; there are some relationships that are so poisonous that they destroy one’s ability to be healthy and function best.

Helpful Instructions.
As a victim of emotional abuse, it’s easy to think I would never do that to someone else. This book helps show how the roles can flip-flop, and a victim can become abusive. It also offers hope, whereas other books tell you to flee the relationship. Best one on childhood trauma.
