another great story!

This was another great story by Peggy L Henderson narrated by Cody Roberts. Both were great as usual. I have not read or listened to any of the other authors in this series other than the prequel and first book (since these books seem to stand alone) but plan to as soon as I get a chance. I love how the author incorporates characters from her other series of books!

Loved this what a fun listen

It was so nice to see past characters and to see Vin get his own story if you have read/listen to the before this you will have known Vin was suppose to come to the future but did not want to he was in the room long enough for the women he saved to get back to the man she loved. Vin is sure his uncle killed his parents. The same one that took him in and treated him like trash as he takes out people who get in his way. It seem Vin is the one in his way now. One night everything changed when he got attacked and his friends sent him to the future. Going from the future to the past is fun but in my book the other way around is more fun. Just think of never seeing a car, man the first ride would be wild. How about a TV or cell phone or even a plane the list goes on and what fun you can write about. The author pulls this off very well giving us a few laughs.

Mr. Roberts narration was lovely right down to his sexy male voices. He has a very smooth deep voice that really makes his males come alive and at times downright sexy. There were no background noises, no repeating of words, no volume changes just a smooth clean listen. His female voices fit the characters giving them a tone that really plays out the characters. He really made this audio come alive with his emotions, dryness, compassion showing how each character truly feels and the pain they are in. If any breaks were taken I could not tell, he delivers a smooth, exciting listen with meaning that pulls the listener in giving a compelling listen that feels like it is happening before your very eyes.

This was such a fun listen from the exciment of the first plane ride to all the new things Vin could never dream of seeing. Short sweet clean read full of excitement with wonderful characters. It was great to see Ashley she is truly a lovely sassy character who really needs a man who doesn’t mind letting her be herself. She has a mind and knows how to use it but most men only want a pretty women. Vin is about to set her life in a tail spin. Truly a lovely fun read.

Another Winner by Peggy L Henderson

What was one of the most memorable moments of Timeless Hero?

I loved that Vin made friends with Ashley's neighbors. They trusted him right from the beginning.

Which character – as performed by Cody Roberts – was your favorite?

Ashley and Vin, equally stole my heart. Cody Roberts does a fantastic job with characters voices.

Any additional comments?

This book was a quick read, as all by Peggy L Henderson are, especially when Cody Roberts is telling me the story! I didn't want the book to end, but loved that the epilogue tied up all the loose ends and made the story complete. I loved when Henderson pulls in characters from past books!

Finding Self Worth

What did you love best about Timeless Hero?

Ashley and Vin are two people whose families did not value them. Vin's mother and father were killed at an early age and taken in by a power hungry uncle. Ashley's family kicked her out of their home. Despite what occur, they sought after being loved. Peggy Henderson shows that they were worth redeeming.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that despite all their troubles, they did find a happy ending.

Have you listened to any of Cody Roberts’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have heard a few of Cody's performances. They are all top notched including this one.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There are several scenes that stood out. One is when Vin is helping some older ladies in the neighborhood. The ladies reminded me of some of my aunts - the ones who could get you to do anything they wanted. Second, the wedding scene - I will not spoil it for those who still need to hear the book but I wanted to punch Ashley's date.

I liked that even though this was Vin and Ashley's story, we had some followup from Amber and Scott's story. I must say, this book has two happy endings.

Makes me feel like I was there

Take a beautiful story and combine it with the amazing voice of Cody Roberts, and you have a real winner. Cody does a marvelous job of voicing both the males and females in the story. I had to laugh when he did the "old ladies".
This can be read as a stand alone story as part of the series, but it was great to visit again with some of the characters from her past novels - especially Gabe...
I was so glad to see Ashley and Vin get their HEA!

Heartthrob Hero

Oh my! This long ago criminal is just what the doctor ordered for modern, independent Ashley! I am glad the narrator, Cody Roberts, was the same as Peggy's last Timeless Hearts book Timeless Bond! He's got a wonderful sultry voice that really portrays the hero perfectly, plus it kept the consistency with the previous book's characters which also appear in this book! This is definitely my favorite so far! I can totally picture this rugged cowboy riding that velocipede!

When an ex-con becomes a Hero

Vin was never giving a chance for a normal life after his loving parents were killed. His uncle begrudgingly took him in only to try to mold Vin into what his uncle wanted. Vin was having of that, so he took up with some unsavory characters and got caught while helping a couple who are at the wrong time and place. After Vin returns from prison, his uncle kicks him out and tries to silence Vin, but when time knows your love is waiting for you to find her, special things happen.

Ashley has had it. Her best friend and then her cousin both have found amazing men, yet she seems to only find losers. Ashley is part of her cousin's wedding and soon finds herself swept into her cousin's "secret" of time travel. She finds herself as Vin's caregiver and later discovers that maybe it is not the wrong type of man that she always falls for, but the wrong "time" of man she needs

Vin wants nothing but revenge on his parent's killer, yet does not want to travel back in time after he sets his eyes on this strong, no nonsense woman who has taken him in and helped him heal not only his body but also his heat. Ashley has always admired her best friend's husband's manners and wanted to find someone like him (little does she know that he is that way because he too is from another time). Can Ashley overcome her fear of being abandoned while helping Vin see that life without revenge can be even sweeter?

This third installment of the Peggy L. Hendersons contribution to the Timeless Heart multi-author series was my favorite! It is a stand alone book, but if you read Timeless Bond when you meet Vin and Ashley for the first time, your experience will be even better. It was a bit different from Peggy's normal plot and it was not only fresh but also shows how well she writes! Cody Roberts once again knocks it out of the ballpark with his brilliant narration! They make a wonderful storytelling team!

Great Story

This book is part of a fun series. Loved Vin's story, the time travel is fun and it is great how Peggy brings characters from her other books into her stories.

Timeless Hero! Book 12 Timeless Hearts Series!

I enjoyed this audio book, written by one of my favorite authors and read by a favorite narrator. Love the characters, past and present and the wonderful story line. A sweet time travel romance. JudyE
