This was very low stakes / low angst. It was a brief but delightful small taste of Lark Cove. This book is mostly based in New York.

I loved Aubrey and Landon!! 😍 Timeless is “independent boss woman meets blue collar man who wants to take care of her” and I ate it up.

I love all of D. Perry's work! Wish she would stop using the Lord's name in vain as that is my only ever gripe with her books. As for Timeless, it was a short and sweet great love story, but that was not the best surprise with this book for me. If you have lived in Perry's world at all you have met this kid who just showed up in Lark Cove with his dog Rocket. I encourage you to read all or listen to all of her books in order. This young man was once a super sweet kid in the novel The Clover Chapel. So... I'm excited and hopeful for Charlie's book and look forward to seeing what happens. Guess we shall wait and see.

Aubrey is a workaholic trying to prove that she has what it takes to continue the success of her family business. Landon is a police officer assigned to Aubrey’s sister’s case. They are set up by Sophia who knows them both perfectly.

This was the perfect short story to send us back to Lark Cove. Aubrey is a force to be reckoned with and wants to be taken seriously in such a male-dominated work environment. She also wants to find someone to hay wants her, not her family money. Landon wants a woman to challenge him. I love that Landon does not let Aubrey’s work get in the way of them being together. The way her forces himself into her life, bringing dinner, calling her, staying at work with her so she’s not alone is absolutely perfect.

I love how this book starts and ends with Charlie’s POV which sets up a Lark Cove spin-off series so we’ll.

And can we take a moment and appreciate @therealjoearden and @narratormaxine for their narration?!

Short and Sweet.
Devney’s books are always a great read. This one is light and swoony. A great love story for Aubrey and Landon, I can’t wait to hear more of Charlie though. ❤️
Narration is so good!!! Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are always awesome together.

Where I enjoyed the continuing family saga, the expected and explicit sex scenes are well written, yet they do seem to be repetitive. Always the male character is well endowed and the lovemaking is not varied much. There is much to be said about sex with couples that aren’t blessed with perfect bodies and men that are just averagely endowed. Kind of a broken record.

Okay, I could have had a full book with Aubrey and Landon. I loved there story! I loved how persistent and patient he was with Aubrey. This is the last book in the series and it was a novella. I WANTED no NEEDED more of them. It was short and sweet and you got to see how their love started, however, I wished it was a full book! How this book started out and finished, makes me wonder if there is going to be another series or if there is going to be another book in this series. Either way I would be one happy person. Loved every second of this book!
