About this listen

In the latest riveting thriller from James Rollins, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Sigma Force series, an international research station in the Coral Sea comes under siege during a geological disaster that triggers massive quakes, deadly tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions. To stop the world from burning, it’s up to Sigma Force to uncover a secret buried at the heart of our planet.

The Titan Project—an international research station off the coast of Australia—discovers a thriving zone of life in an otherwise dead sea. The area teems with a strange bioluminescent coral that defies science, yet holds great promise for the future. But the loss of a military submarine in the area triggers a brutal attack and sets in motion a geological disaster that destabilizes an entire region.

Massive quakes, volcanic eruptions, and deadly tsunamis herald a greater cataclysm to come—for something is stirring miles under the ocean, a threat hidden for millennia.

As seas turn toxic and coastlines burn, can Sigma Force stop what has been let loose—especially as an old adversary returns, hunting them and thwarting their every move? For any hope of success, Commander Gray Pierce must search for a key buried in the past, hidden deep in Aboriginal mythology. But what Sigma could uncover is even more frightening—something that will shake the very foundations of humanity.

The authors sharing of what is real and what is fiction at the end!

James Rollins creates such a grand adventure that feels like it could be the next headline in our International papers!

Sigma force is always entertaining

This one didn't hold me quite as much as some of the others in the Sigma Force series, but still fun

Just when you thought it was ending...HELL NO!!!!

It took a 3 day weekend to go through this one because I couldn't stop listening! Full of the yummy science & history stuff followers of this series love. You will be wondering where the real vs fiction line is multiple times; yes, I stopped to Google a few things only to find my world expanding a bit more. Sigma is firing on all cylinders in this one, and the bad guys are gonna regret kicking anthill. There will definitely be a couple of re-reads until the next adventure begins. Definitely worth the credit and the next one.

As always a fact based with author’s interpretation adventure

Rollins brings fact and legion together to explain a catastrophic event of volcanoes . Triggered by a Chinese atomic submarine that sinks in the South Seas area off an aboriginal legion of a sea snakes. DARPA and the Chinese are looking to find the submarine but both end up looking for more information about the coral in the area and away to stop the volcanoes. An old enemy raises he head attempting to assassinate the entire DARPA team. Lots of battles and page turning events.

SIGMA FORCE YES! NARRATOR BIG NO!

Let me start out by saying I have never given a review, but I just have to on this o e. The story, as always was wonderful. Rollins always has intriguing ideas, but I cannot believe he has listened to this narrator and was like “yes! He’s the guy!” because he is just awful. He pauses in weird places and puts emphasis on and excitement into words that don’t need it. It’s just awful. I won’t listen to another one if he is the author. Some books just need to be read the old fashioned way.
