About this listen
What is authentic Kabbalah? What did the Chassidic teachings innovate? Finally, a book that introduces and explains the most basic precepts of this ancient wisdom, in a practical, user-friendly way. Through the 32 Gates of awareness, from The Infinite Source of all life - to finite, immediate creation, Rav Pinson guides us along the map of creation and existence according to the deeper teachings of Torah.
Words and concepts that are often confusing and esoteric - such as; the Ten Sefiros, Ein Sof, Tzimtzum and the various Names of the Divine - are demystified in this text, offering us a true gateway into a higher awareness and a more fulfilling existence.
Each chapter is a gate to be opened and explored, and concludes with an affirmation that allows the listener to internalize the knowledge so it becomes understandable, relatable, and transformational.

Story
Achieving a sense of self-mastery and inner freedom demands that we gain a measure of hegemony over our thoughts. We learn to choose our thoughts so we are not at the mercy of whatever burps up to the mind, thus transforming a cluttered mind into a peaceful inner state of awareness. Through quieting the mind and conscious breathing, we can slow the onrush of anxious, scattered thinking and come to a deeper awareness of the interconnectedness of all of life.

Story
The familiar reality is the physical one-percent material realm in which we live, yet there is another dimension the world beyond our five senses. According to Kabbalah, this is called the 99-percent realm. Everything we truly desire: love, joy, peace of mind, freedom, inspiration, and answers are available when we connect to the 99-percent reality. The problem is that most of us have inadvertently disconnected ourselves from this dimension. Imagine if we could access this source at will, and on a continuing basis. This is the power of Kabbalah.

Great overview, insightful and beautiful
This is exactly what I was looking for. The mainline philosophy of Kabbalah without the magical aspect.

A special read
Some reviews stated that the Hebrew threw them off but Accompanied with the kindle book and highlighting only added to my reading experience rather than take away from.
Definitely a different read than I’m used to in that it’s very informative and not in a leisurely or captivating way but I stuck with it and I’m glad that I did.. this book has many hidden gems and insight.
I will definitely try more books from this author.

Hard to follow
The book is so informative but unfortunately very hard to follow on the audio version, because of the excessive use of foreign words.
