About this listen

BOOK I of the TEAL HARBOR SAGA, a romantic suspense series set in an Alpha/Beta/Omega universe. Featuring steamy adult M/M Alpha/Omega romance and eventual mpreg.

Scott Donovan is a detective with a secret, on the run from New York City and trying to start fresh in the idyllic coastal community of Teal Harbor, South Carolina. As he tries to stay one step ahead of his hidden past, cynical and headstrong Scott finds it difficult to fit in with the town’s laidback island lifestyle. His life takes an abrupt turn, however, when he is ordered to transfer to the elite taskforce, Echo Sierra.

Forced to cast aside the loner mentality that has always kept him safe, Scott is suddenly partnered with notorious loose cannon and danger-loving Alpha, Buck McFarlan. While Scott strives to conceal from his new partner the long-buried family secret that would cost the detective his career, Buck has a similar dilemma.

Revered as the town’s tall and handsome golden boy returned home from Afghanistan, Buck is haunted by his own dark secret. The Alpha’s heroic war story, traded constantly about the island in sleepy shops and cafes, isn’t what it seems.

In a world driven by biological predispositions and primal instincts, the two men must navigate the present while healing the scars of their pasts. However, there’s no turning back when their fates are intertwined under the crooked steeples and stately palmettos of Teal Harbor.

Thrilled to See This Get an Audiobook!

I read the book before, so I was excited to see it released as an audiobook—and it did not disappoint. The narrator was fantastic, striking the perfect balance without being over the top. It was easy to follow and fully enjoy.

This M/M alpha/omega story features an omega pretending to be a beta and includes mpreg. The emotional tension, great chemistry, and spicy scenes were all on point. I’ve followed the author since their AO3 days, so seeing this become a published project (and now an audiobook!) is so satisfying. I really hope there’s a book two—and that the same narrator returns.

Highly recommend if you love well-written Omegaverse stories with heat and heart.
