Great day in the life story
The writing is straightforward and captures how hard it is to be a soldier even amongst the great US military...I recommend to anyone looking for a better understanding of the mixed emotions of survival in a war zone

A great depiction of a Marine’s experience in combat.
The author puts the reader in the moment by going into depth about the brutality of war and the struggles he and his brothers experienced. He does a fantastic job at describing the personalities of the men he served with. For me it felt as if he was putting me in the events that were taking place in this book. I would recommend this good to anyone that wants to her a true account of modern day combat.
