About this listen
Lilah Stevens first season was the worst a lady could ever have. She hadn’t been a mere wallflower, she’d been the Wallflower. The one that had ended up with her name on everyone lips and a ruined reputation. Before that fateful day no one had ever noticed her. Afterwards, she couldn’t show her face in society without the whispers being uttered at her mere presence. It had been enough to make anyone run and hide, but she refused to allow him that satisfaction. She would make that infernal viscount rue the day they had ever crossed paths, even if it made her reputation terminally unrepairable.
Henry Collins, the Viscount of Harcrest had always been a consummate rake. He didn’t see any reason to change. He loved his life and it was a grand one. As far as he was concerned, he didn’t have a care in the world, and he liked it that way. He doesn’t pay any attention to rumors, but after that fateful encounter he wonders if perhaps it is time he should. Surely, he couldn’t have done what she suggested. Even he wasn’t that depraved…
Lilah wishes she could once again embrace the identity of a wallflower, a role she used to hate, but that is a past she can never reclaim. But somehow, she starts to wonder if she had it all wrong and it might be enough to lead her to a place she never expected: love.

The Wallflower Identity.
The Narrator, Ally Gordon, portrayed the characters realistically. I was impressed with the ease and her ability in which she delineated one character from another. This made the book very enjoyable. The story and characters were very likable. I would definitely read her books again.

Delightful!
The Wallflowers are the original Mean Girls, those that spend their lives on the periphery of society, holding forth on recent gossip and information. Lady Lilah Stevens finds herself in the middle of a new story that's been spread about her, saying that she made advances on Henry, the Viscount of Harcrest. Her fellow Wallflowers told her that the Viscount had said that she had taken liberties on him, but she knows nothing about it at all. That doesn't matter because her first thought is to exact revenge. When she confronts Henry, he's genuinely confused and doesn't remember having said anything, but Lilah isn't going to let him off the hook so easily. But as they spend more time together, they each discover that their feelings are deep and real. In the end, we learn that there are good reasons why someone should never believe gossip!
The narration is beautifully done by Ally Gordon. Her clear, well-modulated voice gives each of the characters a distinct personality and attitude.

Delightful Story
When Henry, drunk and mistaken, declares that Lilah attempted to ravish him, her reputation is ruined. She and her fellow wallflowers make a pact to help each other get revenge on men who have done them wrong. Lilah is first. The ladies plan a house party where Lilah will have her revenge on Henry. Unexpectedly, spending time together changes their feelings toward each other. This is a quick delightful story. Henry is an adorable rake. Lilah and her friends are wallflowers fed up with being ignored. The party is fun, the banter entertaining, the romance steamy. The moment the truth comes out, priceless. Great narration by Ally Gordon.

thrilling romance
Dawn Brower’s The Wallflower Identity is a thrilling mix of romance and revenge that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Lilah Stevens’ journey from a ruined wallflower to a woman determined to get even with the rakish Viscount Harcrest is nothing short of captivating. The audiobook narration brings every emotion to life, making Lilah’s determination and Henry’s arrogance feel tangible.
Lilah is a character you can’t help but root for—her strength and cleverness shine through as she seeks to reclaim her reputation on her own terms. Henry, on the other hand, goes through his own transformation, from carefree rake to someone who realizes the weight of his past actions. Their chemistry is electric, and the way their relationship evolves from revenge to unexpected love is both emotional and satisfying.
The narration perfectly captures the tension, wit, and passion that flow through the story. If you love regency romances with strong heroines, a dash of vengeance, and slow-burn love, The Wallflower Identity is a must-listen! The characters are well developed, and the plot takes delightful twists that will leave you eagerly awaiting the next book in the Revenge of the Wallflowers series.

Lilah and Henry
The thirteenth story in the Revenge of the Wallflowers. Lilah Stevens and Henry Collins, the Viscount of Harcrest's short story. A well written story of vengeance against a Duke who was drunk and made her the talk of the Ton. I enjoyed seeing them get their happy ending. I enjoyed listening to Ally Gordon narrate their story.

Captivating read!
This was a lovely, well-written story that captured my attention from the start and I simply couldn't put it down. Lilah has always been the wallflower, but one fateful evening she went from a nobody to the talk of the town, and not on a good way, either. Henry, The Viscount of Harcrest, is to blame for all the gossip surrounding her, and she won't take it lying down. She vows to make him pay for ruining her life. But as she begins to enact her revenge, he starts to actually have feelings for her. Henry is an incorrigible rake, but even he couldn't have done what Lilah is blaming him for. He feels guilty for all the rumors, but he doesn't remembers anything and he wants to make amends with Lilah, but she hates him and won't hear of it. They soon learn that there is a very fine line between love and hate and it doesn't take long for them to cross that line.
An absolutely engaging and fun story with lots of witty banter that had me laughing! Really enjoyed it!.

Revenge
I enjoyed this quick story. It is well written and fun to read. It has it all, the drama, intrigue, revenge, and society’s double standards. Lilah hears a rumor she tried to undress a Lord. Not True. She decides to get even. One thing leads to another, and… you need to read the story for the rest. The main characters are interesting and likeable.
