About this listen

What if suddenly you could no longer see the sun? Or the stars? What if the world sank into darkness?

Off the coast of Sulawesi, an Indonesian fisherman named Putra Buring Bule nets a strange object from the depths. A few days later, Earth falls into total darkness – an unknown phenomenon blocks out the sun and the starry sky, and the world descends into chaos.

In the midst of a collapsing civilization, CIA agent Rodea Stone is sent to Sulawesi to retrieve Putra’s puzzling find, and gets caught up in a truth that strains the limits of her imagination. Meanwhile, Montgomery Reed, a physicist at the LIGO gravitational wave observatory, is desperately trying to contact the NASA team on Unity Moon Base, who might well hold Earth’s only hope in their hands.

The Wall: Eternal Night depicts a fateful event that changes Earth and all its inhabitants forever. But there are two sides to every fate. In The Wall: Eternal Day by Brandon Q. Morris, you will learn about the other side....

narrator is good, butchers accents tho, all swedes germans and south americans sound indian and the two specifically stated different enish dialects both sound like Johnny Rotten. aside from that the story is very original and well tbought out, some underdevopement of characters leaves you not caring when they are in danger or disposed of but overall worth your time if u have a shift to get tbrough hanging tags at a grocery store all night.

solid scifi book

A solid start to an exciting series. Jonathan Davis is quickly becoming one of my favorite performers, and when coupled with solid characters, dialogue, and plot arc from Calvert, it merits high consideration. In addition, the concept of 2 different authors writing opposite sides of a complex story is fascinating and well worth the credits. It is highly recommended!

Interesting concept, well delivered.

Loved the book. I hope it continues! The ending leaves so much to a great story.

Really enjoyed the book.

So I don’t mind authors stretching the science a bit, but in this book we are supposed to believe that after a year of no sunlight the global temperature has “equalized”. It doesn’t take a PHD to know for certain that the absence of sunlight would cause the entire earth to freeze, freeze to the point that even the oceans would turn ice. Joshua Calvert must think we are idiots. This goes beyond suspending our disbelief. I skipped to the last chapter when the military ships are blithely sailing around in14 degrees Celsius a comfortable 50 Fahrenheit. Absurd to the point that I don’t know how this book got published.

Implausible

No seriously what happened? This book tied up zero loose ends. Do I need to read the second book to find out what happened?

What just happened?
