Predictable and boring
I almost didn't make it through this book. Very weak start and I figured out who the antagonist was about half way through the book and just had to sit waiting for the point to be made.

Bad narration
The narration is bad. Its rythim is awakward. Its repeated patterns put me to sleep.

Rather read it with your eyes
I didn’t take to the reading. Reacher, in my head, after many books, doesn’t sound like that- spoiled it badly for me. Ladies voices were weird too . The story itself was reaching a little & never resolved the issue. Not the best.

Pity about the narrator ...
Although I am loving the Jack Reacher series, this book was a chore to listen to. If it wasn't that the story was so good, I would have given up after the first half hour. The narrator is one of the worst I have listened to, not finishing his sentences and applying the same sing song cadence to all the sentences he reads.
