great story just soooooo much unbelievable gore.
This is my second time through. Not sure why because eww I almost didnt finish the first try. The gore is horrific but the underlying story is good. honestly though this story creeps me out.

Mike Evans if you're reading this please for the love of God, finish the next book! ( hopefully many many more😍) please and thank you!

insane!!!
I have loved this series since it started. After Orphans, it's my favorite series by this author. Salzman is an awesome narrator. This book was a total mindscrew . He definitely left it open for more books, but he left just enough clues to end it too. I'm looking forward to seeing which path the author will choose. its probably the most gory of all of his series, but could be read as a standalone, with a bit of imagination. I say that, because even though I've read the rest of the series, Ive forgotten most of what happened in the first three books, but I had no problems reading it, without rereading the first three. Well done.

This is by far the bloodiest of the series, and the most entertaining story. I have a weak spot for stories about bad children.
I wonder if this is the last of the series for now, or the last of the series PERIOD.
I hope there are more of them over time

not for me
I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator.
I listened to books 1 & 2, didn’t get book 3, and went into this one book 4. At least this one had a story line to it, but I still wouldn’t have spent a credit on any of them. If you like listening to nothing but killing and the description of how its done then you will probably like this book.
I like the narrator. He did another series that I absolutely love so I have a special place in my heart for him lol.
