About this listen
Hiraeth is a Welsh word for which there is no English equivalent. Hiraeth is a feeling of homesickness for a home to which you cannot return. A grief for something that was not only lost, but for something you can’t even remember what it was. Many Christians feel an acute sense of hiraeth because they have no tribe. They have no people. No place. No sense of belonging.
The Tribal Instinct explains what exactly tribes are and why they have disappeared. More importantly, it explores the Biblical case for tribe and what Christians might do to recover what has been lost. With unabashed pessimism, The Tribal Instinct addresses difficult subjects like the role of race, gender, and language in the formation of tribes—a long overdue conversation too many are afraid to discuss.
While the world is seemingly moving away from tribes, many are not. They are seeking ways to reconnect with their people and form communities that have far more meaning and purpose than neighborhood HOAs or anonymous internet forums. For those struggling to understand who their people are, and where their place is, The Tribal Instinct will offer a welcome breath of fresh air into your search.

Story
What if the Christianity we were taught was similarly misrepresented? Within a few hundred years after the resurrection of Jesus, distortions began to creep into Christianity from the pagan belief systems which surrounded it. Over the course of hundreds of years, man-made doctrines have accumulated and warped the Christian faith so drastically many of its early believers would scarcely recognize it. The world’s most popular religion is a far cry from the message Jesus preached through villages and towns during his ministry.

Story
There is a group of people who believe what Jesus and his disciples understood to be true is very different than the modern church’s interpretation of the Christian faith. These people are also concerned about rising persecution, violence, and political instability—particularly for Christians with a strict interpretation of the Bible. Because of that, they’re working together to ensure a stable future for their families. Like the Amish or Mennonites, they have a distinctive Christian faith and way of life. This group of people calls themselves Protarians.

Story
A fascinating account of the world’s most famous disease - polio - told as you have never heard it before. Epidemics of paralysis began to rage in the early 1900s, seemingly out of nowhere. Doctors, parents, and health officials were at a loss to explain why this formerly unheard-of disease began paralyzing so many children. Why did this disease start to become such a horrible problem during the late 1800s? Why did it affect children more often than adults? Why was it originally called teething paralysis by mothers and their doctors?

In the late 1800s, a new disease arrived in North America from Europe and began to claim the lives of children everywhere. Though most today have never even heard of this illness, it would routinely kill over 10,000 children in a single year - more than the polio might take in an entire decade. After much trial and tribulation, a shot was developed that helped both those already afflicted with the illness, and those who might one day become infected. But the shot was dangerous, and many parents refused it for their children.

Decades before the American Revolution, Benjamin Franklin lamented that English settlers were constantly fleeing over to the Indians - but Indians almost never did the same. Tribal society has been exerting an almost gravitational pull on Westerners for hundreds of years, and the reason lies deep in our evolutionary past as a communal species. The most recent example of that attraction is combat veterans who come home to find themselves missing the incredibly intimate bonds of platoon life.

Story
Totalitarianism is not a coincidence and does not form in a vacuum. It arises from a collective psychosis that has followed a predictable script throughout history. In The Psychology of Totalitarianism, world-renowned Professor of Clinical Psychology Mattias Desmet deconstructs the societal conditions that allow this collective psychosis to take hold. By looking at our current situation and identifying the phenomenon of “mass formation”—a type of collective hypnosis—he clearly illustrates how close we are to surrendering to totalitarian regimes.

Story
You live in a dystopia. Every part of historical human existence in our world has been turned on its head. The world we live in is an inversion of what God created you to live in. All that is good is treated as though it were repugnant. All that is beautiful is treated as though it were repulsive. And the truth is forbidden while the most outrageous lies are exalted. This world did not become like this by accident or by inexorable forces of history. This world was engineered to be this way. It was designed to take the life your ancestors had and tear it apart.

It's a guide for understanding who men have been and the challenges men face today. The Way of Men captures the silent, stifling rage of men everywhere who find themselves at odds with the overregulated, overcivilized, politically correct modern world.

There is a tug of war going on for the future of America. At one end of the rope are those who think America is a secular nation; at the other end are those who believe religion is at the root of our country's foundation. In this audio release of the thought-provoking America's Real War, renowned leader and speaker Rabbi Daniel Lapin encourages America to reembrace the Judeo-Christian values on which our nation was founded and logically demonstrates why those values are crucial to America's strength in the new millennium.

The good news is this is not the first time the world has ended. What's more, men were made for times like these. And the men of the past — the good ones, anyway — have left us a plan to follow. They built houses to last — houses that could weather a storm. This book contains their plan.

Story
In Addicted to Outrage, New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck addresses how America has become more and more divided - both politically and socially. Americans are now less accepting, less forgiving, and have lost faith in many of the country's signature ideals. They are quick to point a judgmental finger at the opposing party, are unwilling to doubt their own ideologies, and refuse to have any self-awareness whatsoever. Beck states that this current downward spiral will ultimately lead to the destruction of everything America has fought so hard to preserve.

What if the first commandment was meant to serve against a much bigger danger to Christianity than just the gods of Egypt and Rome?
