About this listen
AN UNPUTDOWNABLE THRILLER!
A crew looking for some kicks is about to collide with a hero hiding from his past.
The knockout game is a violent one-punch assault on random strangers. Years ago, it faded like a bad memory, but now it’s back with a vengeance.
This time the contest is twisted into an act of retaliation. Its target? The image of the elite—men in suits and ties. No man is safe walking through downtown.
Those playing the game are terrorizing a city, and the police seem helpless to stop it. The protectors have yet to understand that this competition has always been about one suit.
And he’s about to fight back.
The Suit is the fourth book in the 509 Crime Stories, a series of novels set in Eastern Washington with revolving lead characters. You’ll love this story if you like thrillers with fast-paced action.

Slow start - hang in there
At first I may have wanted to return it but it rallied and became very very interesting. I recommend.

Excellent crime story
I enjoyed this book - it is more crime than mystery unlike the previous books. You know all of the players and watch the detectives try to solve the mystery while watching the criminals trying to outsmart them. It is well written. Damon Abdallah did an excellent job narrating the many voices!
. *This is just me, but it also made me think about how important it is to reach children before they become criminals. I’ve worked in the schools and after school programs. There are so many students that just need someone to tell them they are worth loving. I don’t know if that was an intentional message but you could see how so many of the criminals could have made different choices if they weren’t being told how worthless they were. Just my observation.

Great story and narration
These books keep getting better and better. This one didn't have a mystery for the reader to solve, but the police had to solve the multiple crimes happening around the city. I really like how the same central characters appear and work together.
