Like his last books, “The storm rages” is full of intense battles and tactics, but this book is the absolute best example I have found of what a modern war will be like. The stories of Blackhawk down, we were soldiers, etc. are timeless of course, but the new reality of drones, trenches, and the like can’t be denied, and the way he weaves them into the story is great. This book is entertaining and full of information that needs to be known.
