Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

More than two centuries after World War III poisoned the planet, the final bastion of humanity lives on massive airships circling the globe in search of a habitable area to call home. Aging and outdated, most of the ships plummeted back to Earth long ago. Story
In the 20th century Earth sent probes, transmissions, and welcoming messages to the stars. Unfortunately, someone noticed. The Galactics arrived with their battle fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined their vast Empire. Swearing allegiance to our distant alien overlords wasn't the only requirement for survival. We also had to have something of value to trade, something that neighboring planets would pay their hard-earned credits to buy. As most of the local worlds were too civilized to have a proper army, the only valuable service Earth could provide came in the form of soldiers....

Humor and action
The Silver Timeship has lots lots of humor and action, with the possible consequences of time travel becoming a central theme.
The story revolves around the same interesting and well drawn central characters, with an entertaining and often comical alien culture being introduced.

My grass is so green!!!
First off Sean has done is again, I have read all 3 of his other books in the series and this one did not disappoint. I found myself outside watering my grass or sitting in my car because I couldn't stop listening. The audio effects and C.J. Grey's ability to put so much life into these characters has me waiting for the next book in the series.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review; don't tell Sean I would buy these books if I didn't get a copy to review.shhhhhh!!

Started a little slow, but ending was awesome!
Best of the series so far!
I am the type that goes to sleep listening to audiobooks, and it usually takes me about 10 to 15 minutes. But not this story, I am exhausted this morning because I just could not stop listening to the last 2 hours of the book. Once again, you never quite know who will live and who will be killed off in the story. I used to hate when my favorite hero or villain died, but have finally learned that, like real life, you treasure things more when you don't know how long they will be in your life. But can't imagine what it is like to put all that effort into developing a character your fans will love, only to have them die off later.
Narration was also excellent. Great distinct voices for the characters.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for an honest review.

Another Good One!
The Silver Timeship Book 4 is another awesome installment of (The Crimson Deathbringer Series) Totally exciting with great characters, it keeps you turning pages, or in this case keeping your ears on. C.J. Grey does another amazing job narrating. I was provided this audiobook by Sean in his promotion, and this is my voluntary review.

Book 4 did not disappoint.
The saga continues. As with the other books, this one picks up where the last left off, and the crew are off to another adventure. Another easy listen that passes time without even noticing it. Glad there will be a book 5 as im not ready for their story to end.

Okay, I Definitely Need a Movie from This Series!
I am so 100% invested in this series. Even the sad parts can't tear me away. I can't wait for the ending so that I know what's going to happen, but I'm sad when it ends. I love their world. I wouldn't want to live in it, but I love hearing about it, reading about it, experiencing it vicariously, as a hero, of course! I love that the point of view switches between characters. It leaves you guessing as to what's happening with the other characters. Always makes you wonder who is going to die this time. It's war. People have to die. Even if you don't want them to. And I don't. I don't want them to die. I hate it when someone dies. I love them all and want the typical happy ending for everybody. But, even though I don't get that, I still love these books. Who knew I would love the Space Opera genre?! I'm so surprised by that even after listening to four books, haha! There's just enough drama, suspense, action and humor to make this the perfect movie series. I feel like I should be pitching this to a movie company instead of writing a review. But, alas, this is the best I can do to try to get other people to give this series a try. You won't regret it. It's perfect!
The narrator is perfect! His voice is just what the story needs. He gives Jim the perfect hero voice. Deep, strong, and masculine. And he gives everyone else the perfect voice as well. He has a wide range of voices and can pitch perfectly to male, female, or alien with ease!
